Position Summary The Cook II is an experienced culinary professional responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality food in a luxury resort environment. This position works within a designated kitchen station and plays a key role in ensuring exceptional food quality, presentation, consistency, and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate has strong culinary skills, attention to detail, and a passion for creating memorable dining experiences. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, specifications, and chef direction. Maintain exceptional standards for food quality, taste, presentation, and consistency. Set up, stock, and organize workstations for efficient service. Collaborate with chefs and culinary team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Assist with inventory management, product rotation, labeling, and food storage procedures. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards. Monitor product quality and report any concerns to culinary leadership. Support and mentor junior culinary team members as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional kitchen environment. Qualifications Minimum 2-3 years of culinary experience in a luxury hotel, resort, fine dining restaurant, or upscale kitchen. Culinary degree or professional culinary training preferred. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume culinary environment. Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
