PHYSICIAN - Pathology (0.8 -1.0 FTE) - Fargo, ND

Pathologist (0.8–1.0 FTE) Fargo, ND – Essentia Health-Fargo seeks an AP/CP board eligible or board‑certified pathologist to join a dedicated team of four pathologists, including hematopathology and dermatopathology fellowship‑trained specialists, and two pathology assistants. The position is open to general pathologists and fellowship‑trained pathologists; fellowship training is desired but not required and all subspecialties are considered. Responsibilities Contribute to patient care as part of a multidisciplinary team. Provide clinical pathology services, including gross dissections, frozen sections, and routine laboratory consultation. Participate in on‑call coverage, with duties divided equally among pathologists. Lead outreach and laboratory medical directorships as part of practice expansion. Collaborate with dedicated supportive staff and laboratory operations to ensure high quality diagnostics and efficient workflow. Qualifications Board Certification or Eligibility in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology; fellowship in any subspecialty is preferred but not mandatory. Strong clinical pathology skills with a demonstrated ability to work in a shared practice environment. Valid medical license in the state of North Dakota. Commitment to quality patient care and collaborative practice. Compensation Base salary of $476,000 with eligibility for bonuses, quality incentives, or production‑based compensation.
