Quality Auditor

Quality System SupportThis position is responsible for supporting the Quality System including auditing of in-process product per instructions as well as all associated documentation and performing the duties of Receiving, Dock Auditing as needed.Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Perform Receiving Inspection and Dock Auditing as neededPerform in-process inspection of product to determine compliance to customer requirementsMaintain variable charts per blueprint and/or customer requirementsMonitor data received by sub-contractors for compliance to specifications as neededAssist in sort operations as neededResponsible for following all internal and OSHA required safety proceduresAdherence to all company policies and procedures (i.e. quality manual, associate's handbooks, level II procedures, etc.)Maintain work area per housekeeping standardsPerforms all other duties as requested by the Quality ManagerQualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Knowledge of inspection techniques and simple measurement instrument usage. Capable of performing Gage R&R and capability studiesLanguage Skills:Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors and other employees of the organization. Ability to work well with others in a team environment Good organizational and communication skillsMathematical Skills:Ability to do simple math; addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Also, the ability to add positive and negative numbersReasoning Ability:Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
