Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for an ICU position. This role requires flexibility as the nurse will float between various units depending on patient care needs.

Shift Details

Schedule: Night Shift 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

On-Call: Yes, the RN must report to work within 45 minutes.

Weekend Requirement: Yes, required every other weekend.

Floating: Yes, expected to float based on unit needs.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will provide nursing care for critically ill adults in the ICU setting, managing various medical conditions and procedures while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Patient Ratios

Day Shift: 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3 ratios depending on patient acuity

Night Shift: 1:2 or 1:3 ratios dependent on patient acuity

Qualifications

Previous Charge Experience: Required

Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years

Certifications: ACLS, BLS, MAB*, NIHSS, CCRN*

Skills: Proficient in managing IVs, ventilator support, arterial line management, and more.

Special Requirements

The nurse must possess a valid compact state license at the time of submission. Additionally, it is essential to have reliable transportation for this assignment.

Additional Information

The daily census is approximately 14.2 patients.

Number of ICU rooms: 8, with a total of 8 beds.
