What you’ll bring to the role:

• Active North Carolina SLP license (required)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
• Recent school-based SLP experience strongly desired
• Demonstrated expertise with assistive listening technology
• Flexibility regarding caseload assignments, adjusted by your background
• Willingness and readiness to supervise an SLPA, if applicable
• Commitment to a full contract from start date to June 4, 2027
• Team-oriented approach and strong communication skills
• Please note: Voco SLPs will not be considered for this position

Key duties:

• Provide a range of speech and language services to students across grade levels
• Assess, evaluate, and document students’ communication needs and progress
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs
• Integrate assistive listening technology to maximize student access
• Consult with teachers, families, and support personnel
• Supervise and mentor SLPA staff members (if assigned)
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district requirements
