We are physician owned, with on-site x-ray and MRI. We have been serving the Kansas City area for 25 years. Our Radiology department supports the hospital, practices, and urgent care. Our technicians provide quality diagnostic x-rays in the clinic, surgery and urgent care departments as directed by the physicians. We’re seeking a PRN Radiologic Technologist who is looking for a dynamic and fast-paced working environment. New Grads are welcome and encouraged to apply! Essential Functions Perform high-quality x-rays according to established protocols and physician orders with attention to detail as well as adherence to strict safety procedures Strong prioritization and computer skills Escort, prepare and position patient for radiographic procedures as needed Follow guidelines for radiation protection using variety of shielding materials Participate in staff meetings as required Follow established procedures for patient care and safety Proficiently uses EMR Obtain and document pregnancy status Assure efficient operation of workflow of the department by performing other duties as assigned. Monitor and maintain adequate inventory of supplies and material BLS certification required within 90 days of hire Practice safe work habits Review images and make necessary adjustments for quality and accuracy Maintain patient records and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile work environment Other duties as necessary PRNs are eligible to join our 401k plan.
