Job Title Windows System Administrator Location Panama City, FL (Tyndall AFB) Contract Estimated 8‑10+ month contract Pay $40.00 – $45.00 per hour Travel Up to 25% Responsibilities Troubleshoot, install and maintain servers, operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS), applications, and hardware. Proactively monitor system performance and identify potential issues. Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems; escalating complex issues to senior staff when necessary. Implement and maintain system security measures, including firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems. Perform regular system backups and recovery procedures. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls. Automate routine tasks using scripting languages such as PowerShell. Qualifications Secret Security Clearance (eligible). Security+ CE certification. 2+ years of server administration level experience. 5+ years of overall IT experience. Strong Group Policy (GPOs) experience.
