Software Engineer (Display Products) - Early Career

About the Role Lockheed Martin Rotary Mission Systems in Moorestown, New Jersey is seeking a full‑time Early Career Software Engineer. In this role you will define mission‑critical requirements, develop Windows and user interfaces for military personnel user experience, and integrate new capabilities into the premier self‑defence system for the United States and Allied Navies, the Aegis Combat System. Responsibilities Implement software, complete L1 unit testing, L2 automated testing, and code inspections in Java, C++, or Python to troubleshoot software issues. Work with Linux/UNIX operating systems. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics or a closely related field. Experience with Java, C++, or Python to troubleshoot software issues. Proficient with Microsoft Office. US citizen required; position requires a government security clearance and is located at a facility that requires special access. Desired Skills Experience with Linux/UNIX Operating Systems. Experience with Java Swing, Angular, or React. Familiarity with Agile product development methodology. Experience in User Interface implementation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a collaborative team environment. Security Clearance Secret level clearance required. Position requires a US citizen. Position Details Location: Moorestown, New Jersey Type: Full‑Time Shift: First Work schedule: 4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week. Worksite: Onsite full‑time at a Lockheed Martin facility. Salaries: $61,500 – $116,455 base salary.
