Responsibilities

• Greeting customers in a friendly manner and taking food and drink orders
• Preparing and serving beverages, ranging from simple to elaborate ones
• Taking payment from customers
• Maintaining inventory and equipment by cleaning, troubleshooting, and scheduling repairs
• Keeping the work environment sanitary and organized
• Evaluating and modifying processes to improve efficiency and quality of service
• Arrive at office at 8:30am to prepare caf to open
• Open Caf at 9am daily and close at 1:30pm
• Assist with cleanup of caf daily at close
• Order coffee supplies and other caf supplies as necessary
• Work with the cook on processing customer orders
• Assist with supplemental catering orders as necessary

Qualifications

• Listen well and communicate in a professional and friendly manner
• Practice basic safety procedures with respect to equipment and handling hot beverages
• Be efficient and organized
• Build good relationships with customers
• Maintain a clean work environment
