St. Mary's Healthcare has also been named a 2026 Times Union Top Workplace—the first acute care hospital in the Capital Region to earn the distinction since the Times Union launched the recognition program 14 years ago.Job Requisition: PHARM001594 Employment Type: Part time Shift: Rotating Hours Per Week: 24 hour/week Hiring range: $111,324.40 - $143,578.40 The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.Responsibilities:Reviews and assesses medication orders to identify, prevent and resolve potential and actual drug related problems. Recommends formulary alternatives when appropriate.Compounds and dispenses medications for accurate delivery to patients.Provides drug information and education to medical staff and patientsCommunicates with physicians and other clinicians as necessary to facilitate careOversees technical personnel who assist in the preparation, maintenance, and dispensing of medications and supplies. Assists with academic functions such as serving as a preceptor for pharmacy students. May float to provide coverage of pharmacy needsProvides patient counseling efficiently and effectively when requiredLicensure/CertificationRequired Credential(s): Pharmacist credentialed from the New York Board of Pharmacy obtained within six (6) months from hire date or job transfer date.
