Description

• Conduct evaluations in both inpatient and outpatient environments while developing personalized treatment plans for patients
• Implement physical therapy interventions focusing on enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Collaborate effectively with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation specialists to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic goals, discharge processes, and home exercise routines
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatments, and patient progress in line with facility standards and regulations
• Participate in team rounds and interdisciplinary meetings to ensure coherent and integrated patient care

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited program

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Additional certifications in specialized areas (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are a plus, but not a requirement

Skills

• Prior experience is strongly preferred
• Ability to manage complex medical and mobility challenges
