Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care Unit / Stepdown setting during night shift hours
• Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications safely in accordance with facility protocols and competency standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Rotate holiday coverage on an every-other-holiday basis

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in a PCU, Stepdown, or IMC setting
• Active and unencumbered Ohio RN license or valid Compact State license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – must be in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification – must be in hand at time of submission
• Must achieve an acceptable score on ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation (maximum of 2 attempts)
• No open background or license hits; background review conducted by facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PCU/Stepdown experience concentrated within a single facility location
• Familiarity with annual nursing competency requirements and module-based continuing education
