Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Technologist

My client, a community hospital in central Vermont, is looking for a Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Technologist. This is a full-time, permanent position with comprehensive benefits.

Day Shift (8:00am-4:30pm)

Responsibilities:

• Utilizes high frequency sound waves and other diagnostic techniques for medical diagnosis.
• Produces and evaluates ultrasound images and related data.
• Acquires and maintains specialized technical skills and medical knowledge to render quality patient care.

Requirements:

• Graduated from an AMA-accredited educational program for Diagnostic Sonography or equivalent.
• Prior experience preferred.
• BLS Certification through American Heart Association.
• RDCS or RCS or ARDMS (AE) preferred, or registry eligible within 1 year of hire.
