Rec Well - Rec Well Influencer (Fall 2026-Winter 2027) As a Rec Well Influencer, you will be responsible for educating and raising awareness for both Rec Well and the Healthy Campus initiative across campus through the use of technology and social media. You will work alongside other Influencers to promote the mission and vision of both Rec Well and Healthy Campus in engaging and entertaining ways.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must have a personal Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok account. Accounts must have a following of OU students and must align with Rec Well T.R.I.I.P.S. (Teamwork, Respect, Integrity, Inclusion, Positivity, Service) values. Willingness to have a more flexible schedule due to the nature of the work you will do. Technologically Adept: Comfortable with a range of technology to create a multitude of content. With that, you must be able to stay up to date with social media trends. Ability to Work Independently and with Others: This job requires you to sometimes represent OU through your own accord and willpower, while also allowing for a space to be collaborative and accepting of others opinions. Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities and demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders. Inclusive Fluency: Ability to be respectful and work well with everyone regardless of race, religion, culture, gender, etc. Should represent themselves, and OU Rec Well, as a welcoming and inclusive environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Use your personal social media pages to inform the OU community about both Rec Well programs/services and Healthy Campus initiatives as well as general knowledge regarding the mission and goals of Healthy Campus. Contribute in the creation of Rec Well TikToks/IG Reels under the direction of the Marketing Graduate Assistant. Growing the awareness, and engagement of health and wellness resources designed to support our OU community of students, staff, and faculty. Assisting with targeted outreach to ensure each of these groups is represented within our digital space. Attending and/or participating in Rec Well/Healthy Campus events in order to educate and promote programs and services.

COMPENSATION

$15/hour - Minimum rate for new hires

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

Must be available to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and early mornings. Attend all scheduled staff meetings and trainings. Act in accordance with the Clery Act as a mandated reporter and carry out responsibilities in reporting a crime on campus as a University Recreation and Well-Being staff member. Must be enrolled part-time, at least 6 credit hours per semester for undergraduate students and 4 credit hours for graduate students at Oakland University.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED
