Pay Rate: $22.50/hour Position Overview The Quality Technician I is responsible for supporting quality assurance activities throughout the manufacturing process. This role helps ensure products meet quality standards by conducting audits, inspections, testing, and process evaluations while partnering with production, engineering, and suppliers to drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction. This role helps ensure products meet quality standards by conducting audits, inspections, testing, and process evaluations while partnering with production, engineering, and suppliers to drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
- Participate in cross-functional team meetings to identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Utilize measurement and testing equipment to perform capability studies and document process performance.
- Conduct and maintain work-in-process and finished goods quality audits, ensuring audit criteria reflect current customer requirements and concerns.
- Recommend improvements to processes, products, and documentation to enhance quality and performance.
- Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with work instructions, process audits, and quality checklists.
- Develop visual quality standards that clearly identify acceptable and unacceptable product conditions.
- Quarantine nonconforming materials, oversee disposition activities, and assist in determining associated costs and responsibilities.
- Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality concerns and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain documentation related to inspections, calibration records, and process capability studies.
- Train production employees on quality audits, inspection procedures, and calibration requirements as needed.
- Support supplier and customer testing requirements and quality plans.
- Assist with Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and Temporary Deviation processes.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control principles.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Experience using standard measurement and testing equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and procedures.
- Strong organizational, recordkeeping, and documentation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Associate degree preferred.
- Previous manufacturing or quality experience preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers, suppliers, production employees, and management.

- Quality Technician Certification preferred.
- Frequent sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday.
- Occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and balancing.
- Regular use of hands and fingers to operate office and manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to communicate effectively in person and by telephone.
- Work is performed in both a climate-controlled office environment and a manufacturing plant setting.
