Job TitleThis position is full time and can be located in Columbia, South Carolina (strongly preferred), State College, PA, or Dallas, TX. Also, open to fully remote candidates nationwideThis position operates within a typical Office IT Environment.Education RequirementsMinimum Required Education: Bachelor's Degree.Degree Equivalency: 6 years of relevant experience.Work Experience RequirementsMinimum Required Work Experience: 9 years related IT experience and 2 years in corporate planning or strategic development (can be concurrent).Preferred Work Experience: 11 years related IT experience and 4 years in corporate planning or strategic development (can be concurrent).Required TechnologiesIBM z/OS storage environments.Creating storage management utilization reports.Initialization and configuration of DASD devices.DFSMSdss full volume and logical dataset dump and restore.Required Software and ToolsStrong knowledge of IBM z/OS storage administration experience.Coding SMS Client routinesISMF to translate, validate, and activate Client routine, define and maintain SMS constructs.HSM configuration and administrationMonitor SMS storage group utilizationRMM configuration and administrationDesired QualificationsWorking knowledge of Dino Software T-REX and UDM software productsWorking knowledge of Luminex Mainframe Virtual Tape (MVT), storage pools, LSCRUP process, and Luminex GUIIBM TDMF for z/OSWorking knowledge of DELL EMC PowerMax and SRDF replicationExploitation of zEDCTeamOperations – 3 people directly on this team, with a whole team of 26.
