Environment Artist

Creating immersive 3D environments, the contract Environment Artist will build detailed assets for cinematics and virtual production projects while working remotely. Key responsibilities Build detailed 3D environments in various styles based on project and art direction needs Create and implement assets for scene composition and compelling level layout Perform worldbuilding, texturing, modeling, and asset packaging using tools like Maya, Substance, and Unreal Engine Required qualifications 3+ years of experience in the game or film industry creating assets and environments Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Maya, Substance, Zbrush, Unreal, and other relevant software Skilled in hard-surface modeling and contemporary real-time rendering methods Understanding of the import/export process to Unreal Engine, including troubleshooting Knowledge of traditional animation and/or video game pipelines is required; virtual production knowledge is a bonus
