LEAD FIREFIGHTER (BLS/HAZMAT TECH)

Structural Firefighting And Rescue DutiesYou will perform structural firefighting and rescue duties in buildings, housing units, or confined spaces to eliminate and control fires.You will perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) or automatic external defibrillation (AED) during respiratory and cardiac emergencies.You will employ hazardous materials response procedures and equipment to mitigate hazardous materials incidents.You will direct the operation of firefighting equipment (e.g., pumps, turrets, extended waterways, ground sweep nozzles).
