Our staff is dedicated and committed to using new technologies and keeping up-to-date on recent advancements in health care. We have achieved elite recognition from the American Nurses Association and continue to demonstrate a real difference in how we touch the lives of those we treat. The emergency department has 38 beds, including trauma bays, burn room, psych room, and vertical treatment area. The number of staff is variable according to volume and acuity, but there is always a charge nurse available. Patient ratios are variable depending on acuity and volume. Equipment includes standard emergency/trauma EMR. Skills most recruited for include advanced certifications and emergency care experience. Candidates with additional skills will be considered first. The preferred personality fit is someone easy-going, flexible, with a positive attitude and a patient-first philosophy. Self-scheduling is available. Weekend shifts are required.
