Timberland: Floor Supervisor - Fashion Centre at Pentagon

Responsibilities Assist in maximizing sales and achieving store target goals by leading an environment of productivity and ensuring the store team has the knowledge and skills to meet store goals for sales and customer engagement. Assist in monitoring payroll while protecting the needs of the business. Lead and inspire a customer-centric culture by recognizing and rewarding the teams’ successes. Act as a brand ambassador within the community by proactively engaging with customers and supporting or participating in external community initiatives. Partner with the Store Manager to ensure thorough training and ongoing development of the store team in customer engagement and all company programs, policies, and procedures. Collaborate with the Store Manager to achieve financial and operational objectives including expense control, Loss Prevention, store audits, and weekly report reviews. Responsible for maintaining the store’s inventory integrity. Collaborate with the Store Manager on the implementation of visual merchandising directives and maintain brand-aligned standards. Ensure adherence to policies and procedures, standards, practices, and company directives regarding loss prevention, safety, and compliance; protect company assets. Model behavior that respects diverse backgrounds and upholds the integrity and values of VF Corporation and the Timberland brand. Required 1+ years of store management experience in a fast-paced retail environment Proven ability to meet and exceed sales results Flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced store environment Proven ability to drive results through the store team Willingness to learn and share knowledge of products, local community, experiences and activities relevant to the store’s customer base Ability to provide a highly engaging customer experience through individual service and relationship building Strong decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented Proficient computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and software programs Preferred Experience in a specialty retail environment or retail footwear/apparel industry High School Diploma or GED Physical Operate office equipment and technology (e.g., computers, tablets, phones, copier) Standing for the duration of the shift Bend, lift, open and move product up to 50 pounds as needed Use ladders for visual merchandising, light adjustments, and window banner placement Inclusion & Diversity As a purpose-led, performance-driven company, we strive to foster a culture of belonging based on respect and authenticity.
