About the Job

Club Xcite is hiring a Physical Therapist (PT) for a school-based opening in the Roseville, CA area for the 2026-2027 school year. This is an in-person role supporting students in educational settings across various districts and grade levels.

• Schedule: 20 hours per week (flexible schedule).
• Setting: On site, school-based.
• Caseload: 20-28 elementary school students.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services aligned with student IEP goals.
• Support student mobility, posture, strength, balance, and access to the educational environment.
• Conduct physical therapy assessments and participate in IEP meetings.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student success.
• Consult with school staff regarding orthopedic, mobility, and environmental access needs.
• Recommend, monitor, and support adaptive equipment and assistive technology needs.
• Train school staff on transfers, positioning, mobility supports, and body mechanics.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with school-based and state requirements.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Active California Physical Therapy license.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Experience working with students or youth in school-based, pediatric, or clinical settings.
• Ability to work onsite (no remote roles).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior school-based PT experience.
• Familiarity with IEP processes and school documentation.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience with adaptive equipment, mobility devices, and student access planning.
