This contract opportunity is perfect for a dedicated physical therapist interested in working part-time (4 days/week) or full-time (5 days/week), with flexible scheduling between two schools and specialized programs. You'll play a vital role supporting students from kindergarten through age 22, collaborating closely with educators and staff to help each student reach their fullest potential.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Physical Therapist license (Illinois)
• Prior experience in school-based and/or pediatric physical therapy highly valued
• Comfortable working with a diverse caseload, serving students ranging from kindergarten to young adults
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and families
• Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet individual student needs
• Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation preferred
• Organized, reliable, and positive approach to supporting student growth

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy intervention at two school sites and within specialized programs
• Assess student needs and develop personalized treatment plans
• Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to support IEP development and implementation
• Track progress and maintain thorough, compliant documentation of services
• Engage with students to promote functional mobility, independence, and participation in the school environment
• Educate staff and families on strategies to support students throughout the school day
• Maintain flexibility in scheduling to meet student and program needs

Enjoy consistent hours, with your workday running Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Choose a part-time schedule (26 hours per week) or a full-time option (32.5 hours weekly), with a dedicated 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
