Junior Buyer

Our teams develop and release over 100 new products a year and continue to grow our vast patent portfolio. Job Duties Review MRP action reports and assist in determining purchasing requirements. Prepare and issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to suppliers. Evaluate supplier quotations and support supplier selection decisions. Create and process purchase orders (POs) and ensure timely delivery to suppliers. Follow up with suppliers on order acknowledgments, delivery schedules, and open order status. Expedite where necessary. Maintain accurate purchasing records and supplier information. Monitor supplier performance and assist in resolving delivery, quality, and pricing issues. Work closely with Planning, and Suppliers to support production requirements. Required Skills, Education and Experience 1–2 years of purchasing, procurement, inventory control, or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively with internal teams and suppliers Self‑motivated, dependable, and willing to learn. Flexible working overtime when needed to support business requirements. Capable of following both written and verbal instructions. Team‑oriented with a continuous improvement mindset. Salary Range: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour.
