Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description

Run solo OTR dry van lanes nationwide out of Valdosta, GA with HMD Trucking. Drivers operate late-model equipment (under 3 years) fitted with APUs, inverters and sleepers, and receive dependable freight and in-house maintenance support.

Key responsibilities:

• Safely drive and deliver dry van freight on scheduled long-haul routes, following DOT/FMCSA regulations.
• Perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections, maintain ELD and paperwork, and secure cargo.
• Coordinate with dispatch to meet routing and delivery windows.

Requirements & opportunity:

• CDL-A and minimum 12 months verifiable experience required. Starting pay at 65 CPM, avg ~2,500 miles/week, plus bonuses, full benefits, PTO and biweekly home time.
