OR Service Line Lead RN

Job Summary and Qualifications Assists in providing safe and effective nursing care as the O.R. RN during surgical and other invasive procedures through the performance of specific duties under the direction of the Director/Manager. Service Line Coordination Responsibilities Maintains expert knowledge of service specialty (procedures, equipment, supplies, surgeon preference). Establishes/maintains direct, collaborative, working relationship with Specialty Surgeons. Provides new hire orientation to service specialty. Pursues continuing education regarding specialty procedures/supplies/equipment. Maintains accurate preference cards. Ensures specialty instrument sets are complete and maintained in good working condition. Established collaborative relationships within Surgical Services (Supply Chain, OR Clinician, SPD) to meet the demands of continuously evolving services, procedures, equipment use, and instrument car. Qualifications Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date. (RN) Registered Nurse license. Minimum one (1) year O.R. experience preferred.
