Summer Program Instructor--Part Time

Position Overview Trellis Services is hiring experienced instructors to work with children and adolescents aged 9 to 21 diagnosed with autism as part of our Towson Summer Program. This part‑time position offers flexible hours and a pay rate of $19 per hour with participation in our 401(k) plan. Schedule: Monday–Friday 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. during the last two weeks of June and the first two weeks of August, and 12:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m. in July. Flexible schedules are available. Location: Towson, Maryland 21286. Instructors are required to have a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and be willing to share the pool with their client. Responsibilities Provide one‑on‑one support with community independence, daily living, and recreation/leisure activities. Assist with the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis under supervision of a Case Manager. Adapt to various shift times, including afternoon, evening, and weekend sessions. Explore opportunities for advancement within Trellis and additional assignments across Maryland counties. Qualifications Minimum age 18 years. Eligibility to work in the United States. Ability to pass a background check. At least 100 hours of personal, volunteer, or work experience with individuals with developmental delays. Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license with current auto insurance. Physical Requirements Physical activities may include pushing, pulling, lifting up to 35 pounds, and moving quickly. Must be able to sit on the floor, stoop, stand, walk, and run as needed for client assignments.
