Overview
Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Travel) in Hamilton, New York, United States. Start date: 09/07/2026. Duration: Weeks. Weekly pay: $2,327–$2,463 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 2x3 Nights (12-hour nights) from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Setting: hospital emergency department. This is a travel – temporary assignment.

Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive emergency nursing care: initial assessment, triage, stabilization, monitoring, and ongoing treatment for a variety of acute presentations.
- Administer medications, perform bedside procedures, interpret monitor data and EKGs, and respond to emergent events using current protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the broader care team to develop and adjust care plans; ensure smooth patient flow and safe handoffs.
- Document care in the EMR system (Sorian), including assessments, interventions, responses, and discharge instructions; maintain compliance with privacy and safety standards.
- Adhere to ACLS, PALS, and BLS protocols; TNCC and ENPC are preferred. Maintain awareness of infection control and patient safety best practices.
- Provide patient and family education, coordinate with ancillary services, and support timely discharges or transfers as appropriate.

Requirements
- Active registered nurse license in good standing (state of practice)
- ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications required
- TNCC and ENPC preferred
- Prior ER nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, 12-hour night ER environment
- Proficiency with the specified EMR system (Sorian) preferred
