General Dentist Opportunity

Blue Jay Dental has a client with a need for a general dentist to start immediately in Newcomerstown, OH. A general dentist with strong surgery and endodontic skills is needed. Full time dentist office hours are 5-6 days per week if desired. The practice has an exceptionally caring staff who work very well as a team. The age ranges are adults with mostly PPO and a small percent state ins. Compensation is excellent to help establish a new dentist.

Responsibilities of the dentist include providing diagnosis of patient's dental status utilizing accepted clinical and radiological techniques. Assessing patient's dental status and arranging for appropriate consultations to determine treatment needed. Providing comprehensive professional dental treatment to address the oral health needs of patients. Providing routine recall exams, simple extractions, restorations, prosthetic services, prophylaxis, and fluoride treatments. Referring to dental specialists when appropriate. Managing administrative functions of the dental office. Supervising the work of dental hygienists and dental assistants.

Requirements of the dentist include DMD or DDS from an accredited dental school, OH license, DEA, willingness to live and be part of the community of Newcomerstown, OH, competence in all facets of general dentistry, and a strong focus on clinical excellence.
