Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct detailed client assessments to identify presenting issues, personal history, and treatment objectives. \n
- Provide evidence-based individual, couples, and family therapy, employing therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and narrative therapy tailored specifically for hospice situations. \n
- Develop and coordinate individualized treatment plans, adapting interventions to meet the evolving needs of clients in a sensitive and respectful manner. \n
- Establish strong therapeutic alliances with clients—building trust, fostering open dialogue, and encouraging proactive participation in their treatment journeys. \n
- Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with ethical standards and legal requirements in all interactions. \n
- Engage in continuous professional development through training, workshops, and personal study, staying informed about advancements in mental health practices and hospice care. \n
- Facilitate groups if desired, offering guidance and support to individuals facing similar challenges. \n
- Provide practical support strategies to assist clients and their families as they navigate emotional and psychological challenges associated with end-of-life care. \n
As an LCSW at Unique Behavioral Counseling Center, your primary focus will be on hospice clients and their families. You will address a spectrum of emotional needs, from anxiety and depression to grief and existential concerns, all while maintaining a compassionate approach that honors the unique experiences of each individual. This role requires sensitivity to the delicate nature of hospice care, offering clients a supportive presence during significant transitions.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution. \n
- Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). \n
