Associate Pastor: NextGen Ministries

We are seeking a relational, spiritually mature leader to join our team as Associate Pastor with a focus on next-gen ministries, reaching and discipling students and young adults. The Bridge has long been known as a Bible-teaching church that engages the community through service and outreach. We are also a multicultural church with a vision to integrate the English and Spanish ministries. Key Responsibilities NextGen Ministries Oversee middle school, high school and young adult Lead and grow vibrant middle and high school ministries focused on discipleship, outreach and purposeful fun Develop leaders within each ministry area Organize regular gatherings and events Lead opportunities to serve in the church, community, and cross-cultural mission trips Reach new students and families, maintaining a welcoming environment Develop ministries to parents and families Pastor students and young adults in both English and Spanish ministries Help fulfill the vision of The Bridge to grow younger and reach wider Associate Pastor Collaborate in planning events, outreaches and all-church gatherings Participate in strategic decision-making Offer pastoral care, counseling and support as needed Share in preaching responsibilities as needed, teaching expository, gospel-centered sermons Assist in all-church events and initiatives Contribute to weekly staff meetings Manage areas of church budget with transparency and integrity About this Church Newbury Park is a scenic, family-oriented community in Ventura County, California, primarily situated within the western city limits of Thousand Oaks.
