KBW Financial has partnered with a high-growth PE-backed manufacturer to identify a Controller . In this role you’ll be responsibile for accounting, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and partnering with business leadership. Salary : $125,000–$145,000 + strong bonus and comprehensive benefits. Location : 4 days a week in office based in the Portsmouth, RI area - additional remote flexibility once settled into the role Responsibilities: Lead month-end close processes, preparing journal entries and GL/sub-ledger reconciliations. Conduct variance analysis and financial forecasting to support strategic decision-making. Prepare financial statements including inventory management, cycle count processes, and reserve methodologies to ensure accurate valuation and reporting Support all external audits while ensuring strong internal controls and compliance with GAAP Lead and develop a team of 3 accounting professionals. Partner with operations to help drive efficiencies Manage service contracts, % of completion / WIP and revenue Oversee revenue recognition compliance, accruals, intercompany activity, and balance sheet reconciliations. Contribute to process improvements during the NetSuite ERP implementation. Requirements: Experience : 7+ years accounting experience in the manufacturing or services industry with a backround in financial reporting and process building. Education : Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Technical Skills : NetSuite experience a plus; advanced Excel skills required.
