Requisition ID 7975-Posted - 2OPAM-WTX-3220 PLANT OPERATIONS TEXAS - Air Solutions (IM) - Wichita Falls - Job Country (1) Supervises launching performance and takes leading role for project transfer Supports the CI process team for process improvements and quality improvements Participates in the activities of project in RFQ phase, provides process data etc. information Determines and develops the manufacturing concept including process layout (considering lessons learned from prototyping phases) Specifies required machines, tools and fixtures respecting available standards Defines required process schedule and personnel Verifies and confirms manufacturing feasibility of product Setup and update Standardized Work Chart Conducts Process FMEA and contributes to Design FMEA Checks available and required equipment and prepares capex request for required capital equipment and obtains approval Develops the process documentation required by the systematic standard and/or other applicable standards Ensures fulfillment of (short term and long term) process capability and equipment safety requirement Takes lead of project sample manufacturing, include internal performance test Leads new process/technology roll out in team Contributes to project success by regular attendance of project team meetings, reporting of status and co-operation with other team members Additional duties as assigned Requirements Bachelor degree or equivalent education and experience in the field of Engineering 4 years of relevant work experience in Production Planning Knowledge of Lean Production Principles, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, etc. Knowledge in ISO/TS 16949 required Ability to travel up to 50% of time Experience and knowledge in APQP tools (FMEA, SPC, MSA, etc.) Proficient use of IT-tools (MS Office, cProjects, CIMDATABASE, SAP…) Strong organizational and time management skills Positive attitude with good interpersonal skills and ability to support a team environment Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task Ability to productively work alone or in a team environment Effective communication, include speaking, writing, active listening skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization Self-initiative and ability to work under pressure Strong understanding of safety requirements Must be able to read, understand and comply with written and verbal instructions, company processes and procedures and safety policies Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs Must be authorized to work in the United States Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical equipment such as forklifts and other machinery. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. Ability to work in temperature conditions between 45 to 95 degrees Fahrenheit; may occasionally exceed 95 degrees Fahrenheit.
