Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care on the geropsychiatric unit, including assessments and ongoing monitoring
- Assess, document, and report changes in patient condition; maintain accurate histories and progress notes
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; observe and document patient responses
- Conduct mental and physical health assessments; assist with activities of daily living as needed
- Plan, implement, and coordinate nursing care with the multidisciplinary treatment team; contribute to individualized treatment plans
- Facilitate therapeutic activities, including daily groups and 1:1 sessions; support discharge planning and transitions

Requirements
- Education: Associate degree or nursing diploma (2-year program) required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Licensure: Valid State of New Hampshire RN license
- Certification: BLS certification required
- Experience: 1 year of nursing experience preferred
- Skills: Medical terminology proficiency; strong written and verbal communication; ability to work effectively in a psychiatric and hospital setting
