Job Description

As a

veterinary assistant

, you'll support our doctors and hospital team throughout the patient-care process. Safely handling and restraining dogs and cats
Obtaining and documenting medical histories
Providing nursing care for hospitalized patients with varying levels of stability
Preparing patients for surgery and assisting during procedures
Supporting anesthesia monitoring and patient recovery
A successful veterinary assistant is comfortable multitasking, communicating with both clients and coworkers, and stepping in wherever help is needed. You'll have the opportunity to work with a variety of cases and gain experience across multiple areas of veterinary medicine.
Qualifications

We're seeking a

veterinary assistant

with at least one year of veterinary experience preferred. Experience with animal restraint, sample collection, medical histories, laboratory testing, radiographs, surgical assistance, or anesthesia monitoring is a plus.

Additional Information

Pay Range: $14 to $18 per hour
Schedule:

Full-time| Monday-Friday, closed weekends
