Production Scheduler

Metalex LLC. is looking for a Production Scheduler for our Libertyville, IL facility. The Production Scheduler will schedule all production in accordance with customer orders and ensures adequate supply of raw materials to meet production demands. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Prepares production schedules considering factors of capacity planning, labor, waste, and quality standards. Assigns start date/time and end date/time for production jobs and process operations. Expedites and adjusts work schedules to meet customer demands. Accurately tracks and reports status of orders to sales department. Prints production work orders. Directs daily production meetings. Collects data, creates, and maintains various reports concerning plant production and schedule attainment. Position Requirements High School diploma or GED equivalent 5 years of prior scheduling experience Strong background in MS Word and Excel, as well as demonstrated proficiency with manufacturing scheduling systems: MRP/ERP systems ERP, SAP, Kazien experience is a plus Metal Fabrication experience is a plus Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills APICS certification is a plus Diversity & Inclusion Statement Metalex LLC and its Affiliates is an equal opportunity employer committed to a diverse and inclusive workforce. #J-18808-Ljbffr
