Tech - Cath Lab/EP

Job Description

Job Summary:

The Cath Lab/EP Tech is responsible for assisting with cardiac and electrophysiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and supporting the clinical team throughout complex interventions. This role requires technical expertise and adherence to safety protocols to facilitate effective cardiac care.

Responsibilities:

• Support physicians during cardiac catheterizations, electrophysiology studies, and related procedures.
• Prepare and maintain necessary instruments, equipment, and supplies for all procedures.
• Monitor patient vitals and assist with patient positioning to ensure optimal procedural outcomes.
• Follow infection control standards and safety procedures rigorously.
• Document procedural details and patient information accurately into the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications:

• Hold ARRT or CCI RCIS certification at the time of submission.
• Demonstrate minimum 1 year of experience working in a Cath Lab or EP lab environment.
• Possess current CPR/BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Have an active state license or compact license for Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist or equivalent.
• Be able to work a 4x10 day shift schedule, with flexibility for call and holiday requirements.
• Show strong technical skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
