Responsibilities Assemble, disassemble, and modify aerospace vehicle systems by changing, removing, replacing, or upgrading components to correct failures or implement engineering changes Oversee assembly, disassembly, and overhaul operations to ensure quality and efficiency Configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment according to specifications Troubleshoot complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults Repair faulty components and verify proper functionality after repairs Perform validation and verification testing of systems and components to ensure performance standards are met Document all procedures, repairs, test results, modifications, and inspection results to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance Inspect components and verify that all repairs meet flight‑worthiness requirements Oversee and conduct training for team members on procedures and best practices Work independently under general direction while maintaining safety and quality standards Skills Advanced troubleshooting abilities for pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems Strong mechanical aptitude and hands‑on technical skills Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and manuals Excellent attention to detail and quality control Strong documentation and record‑keeping abilities Knowledge of aerospace regulatory requirements and compliance standards Ability to use diagnostic tools and test equipment Leadership and training capabilities Problem‑solving and analytical thinking skills Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Associate degree in aviation maintenance technology, aerospace technology, or related field preferred FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification preferred or ability to obtain Relevant aerospace industry certifications as required by specific aircraft types Pay Rate Range Min Pay Rate $33 Max Pay Rate $38 Currency USD Unit hourly Benefits Information Optional Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k Tundra Technical Solutions is among North America’s leading providers of Staffing and Consulting Services.
