Accounting Specialist (Associate level) - Japanese bilingual

Pasona N A, Inc. Associate Position

This position is primarily responsible for handling duties pertained to Pasona's professional services for assigned clients as an associate and may be assigned to at least two small to medium size company and/or one large company as part of a team under the supervision of project leaders and/or supervisor. This position is also responsible for performing administrative duties related to professional services.

Job Description:

• Handles outsourcing accounting related duties as assigned
• Prepare supporting documentation and post journal entries to QuickBooks or other ERP systems
• Ensure quality of customer services
• Participate in internal projects as assigned
• Performs other duties related to the assigned projects

Requirement:

• Ability to read, write and communicate professionally in Japanese and English
• Associate degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience is preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks, ADP, Sage 50 or other ERP systems are preferred
• Comfortable with learning new systems and ability to respond to changes in the IT environment flexibly, not afraid of challenge
• Challenging mind and adjustable with new project
• Work accurately in a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize needs to meet required timelines
• Effective written and verbal communication skills

Salary: $45,000-70,000 (Base salary) + Profit sharing

Location: Office-based Hybrid work in Torrance, CA; New York, NY; Houston, TX preferred.
