Travel Respiratory Therapist - NICU
Location: Denver, CO
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: 7 PM - 7 AM
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Travel Respiratory Therapist for our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in critical care and a strong background in pediatric respiratory therapy, particularly in a NICU setting.
Responsibilities:
- Airway management and ventilator management for neonatal patients
- Support emergency departments (ED) with respiratory care as needed
- Utilize a range of critical equipment including G5, Servo, Avea, HFOV, Jet, and V60/V30
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare staff and providers
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum 6 months of current NICU respiratory therapy experience
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NR certification required
- Experience in Level III NICU and pediatrics required
- Critical and PICU experience preferred
- Prior experience with Meditech is a plus
