Your Role and Responsibilities

• Performing in-depth patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and developing tailored care plans
• Diagnosing and treating short-term, ongoing, or chronic conditions in partnership with physicians or independently, based on your qualifications
• Providing education to patients and their families about prevention strategies, wellness, and chronic disease management
• Prescribing medications and therapies in alignment with your scope of practice

Educational Background

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Required Credentials

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Texas
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or relevant specialty
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, or ability to obtain within 90 days
