Hybrid Associate Attorney: Litigation & Negotiation

Role Description We are seeking a full-time Associate Attorney for a hybrid role based in Walnut Creek, California with flexibility for some remote work. The Associate Attorney will handle legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and appear in court for arguments and trials. They will engage in case strategy development, participate in negotiations, and interact directly with clients, in-house legal teams, and insurance carriers. This role requires a strong focus on collaboration, effective time management, and maintaining the firm's high standards of client service. Qualifications Strong skills in Legal Research, Legal Writing, and drafting pleadings, motions, and contracts Experience with Litigation and Trial Preparation, including case management and courtroom proceedings Client-focused approach with excellent Communication, Negotiation, and Interpersonal skills Proficiency in Time Management, Organizational, and Multi-tasking skills Ability to collaborate with in-house legal teams, risk management departments, and external stakeholders Active license to practice law in California Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school 6+ years of experience.
