School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - East Saint Louis, Illinois

What youll bring: Valid COTA license in Illinois (IL) Professional Educator License (PEL) required School-based COTA experience preferred but not mandatory Strong communication skills and adaptability Dedication to promoting student independence and participation in school activities What youll do: Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students K-12, district wide Support IEP goals under the supervision of licensed Occupational Therapists Implement interventions and accommodations to help students access their curriculum Collaborate closely with special education staff, teachers, and families Document student progress and maintain thorough, timely records Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning Create and adapt materials to address students unique needs This full-time contract role is scheduled for 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, beginning on August 10, 2026, and concluding May 21, 2027. As part of this role, youll receive highly competitive compensation at a rate of around $40 per hour, with weekly pay ensuring consistency and security throughout your placement.
