1st Shift Maintenance Technician

Waste Connections is hiring a 1st Shift Maintenance Technician for our Penn Waste facility in Manchester, PA. In this on-site role, you’ll perform preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyors, balers, compactors, and facility systems to keep operations running safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues; performing routine inspections; documenting work in a CMMS; and supporting a strong safety culture. You’ll work closely with operations teams, follow Lockout/Tagout and OSHA standards, and help improve reliability in a fast-paced waste and recycling environment.
