Job Posting Noon Supervisor Indian Lake Elementary 2026-2027 School Year Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated individual to add to our team at Indian Lake Elementary School as a Noon Supervisor. This position works student days only 10:45-1:15pm, approximately 12.5 hours/week. This position is eligible to accrue sick leave through the Michigan Earned Sick Time Act, 1 hour for every 30 hours worked. Responsibilities Supervise students to, from and on the playground, in lunch areas, in the classroom and on campus as directed by the principal or their designee. Enforce playground, lunch area, and campus behavior standards. Organize and supervise playground activities. Acknowledge and reinforce desirable student behaviors. Report serious problems that arise due to behaviors or injuries to the main office. General duties as assigned by the principal or their designee. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent is required. Must be of good health; and be able to lift, bend, and stretch as job requires. Must have a good attendance record. Must possess good decision-making skills. Must be flexible in work assignments. Must demonstrate sociability and warmth in attitude towards others. Must pass background checks and comply with state and district requirements for working with students. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, bend, reach, and move about the building and campus to assist students. May require and employee to lift and/or move heavy objects (up to 50lbs). May require working in all types of outdoor weather conditions.
