Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele night shift position requiring an Ohio or compact RN license and Epic experience.

Details

• Hospital setting on a Med/Surg Tele unit
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 13-week assignment length
• Required to work at least every other holiday
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or compact license required in hand
• Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• 18 months combined permanent experience in specialty required
• BLS and ACLS certification required (AHA or American Red Cross)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification must be obtained prior to start
• Epic EMR experience required
• One recent professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required for consideration
• Reference must be from an assignment worked within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide direct nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completed during orientation with an acceptable score required
• Maximum of two attempts allowed to pass required assessments
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Nurses are currently exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
• Previous permanent or per diem employees cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
• First-time travelers are not being considered for this position
