Mechanical / Welding Superintendent
Elite Welding & Industrial Services is located in Millwood Kentucky and typically operates within 100 miles of this location. Elite promotes a safe, exciting, and team-oriented work environment, empowering people to grow and evolve with our business.
As a Mechanical / Welding Superintendent, you will oversee the day-to-day operations on major heavy industrial construction. We are looking for a superintendents capable of managing everything from large capital projects as well filling the role of a working Superintendent running a small crew as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily workflow, while maintaining a safe environment.
- Maintain project execution in a correct and timely manner.
- Manage direct labor, temp labor and subcontractors.
- Cut and weld metals such as carbon and stainless steel to specifications.
- Strong blueprint reading abilities.
- Must be able to operate forklift, scissor lift, man lift other medium duty equipment.
Education, Skills, Experience Needed:
- 10 to 15 years of direct experience.
- Knowledge of piping and mechanical systems and welding applications.
- Has strong attention to detail to be able to read and understand specifications, schedules, and procedures.
- Osha 30 preferred.
