Registered Nurse - Full-time

Registered Nurse (RN) 11:00pm - 7:00am Pay: Based on experience and shift. Job type: Full-time / Part-time The Manor at Blue Water Bay is a CMS rated 5‑star long-term care facility that provides highly specialized, compassionate, personal 24‑hour skilled care and rehabilitation services in a friendly, comfortable, home‑like environment. Responsibilities Complete initial and ongoing assessments to identify the physical, psychosocial, and environmental needs of home health patients. Assess patients’ conditions, chart observations, and perform evaluation tasks including vital signs and medication review. Administer medication as prescribed by the patient’s physician. Educate patients and their families on proper home health care strategies and procedures; recommend devices or tools to improve quality of life. Provide effective communication to patients/clients, families, team members, and other health care professionals. Learn, absorb, and apply professional training; follow doctor’s orders and keep records in the prescribed manner. Perceive changes in patient behavior, recognize symptoms, and communicate effectively in writing, by telephone, and in person. Supervise LPNs, CNAs, and PCAs. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor’s School of Nursing, or vocational nursing. Current state license as an RN. Proof of current CPR certification. Compassionate, friendly demeanor. Excellent communication skills. Current driver’s license and reliable transportation. Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel locally.
