The Abbington at St George Assisted Living Community is looking for Food Servers for our Dining Rooms. If you are friendly and reliable , and are looking for an opportunity to help improve people's lives , keep reading!
The Food Server position earns a competitive wage of $14-$16 per hour. Work with a team of friendly and hardworking people. The benefits with this job is a big discount on each meal , the ability to be on your feet and active while you work , and the awesome opportunity to improve the lives of the residents by having happy interactions with them and providing them with the nutrition they need to be healthy and strong . Not only that, but this job is vital to then passing each resident off to the other staff in a happy way to where everyone else's job and interactions are made easier.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FOOD SERVER
Food Servers, under the direction of the Director of Dining and Sous Chef, take meal orders and communicate those orders on written tickets for the cooks, deliver food with a sense of care and urgency, and specifically provide friendly, energetic, and restaurant-quality service to our residents to create a heart-warming experience. Helping the kitchen team with dishes is also expected.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A FOOD SERVER
Restaurant or other Food Service experience is preferred, but we are happy to hire and train less-experienced candidates who have a desire to learn and possess a strong work ethic. Excellent communication skills with seniors is a key aspect for this job. We all have our hard days, and seniors are no different! If you have a patient attitude , a happy demeanor , and can communicate well then you are perfect for this job.
**We are looking for weekend, daytime help.**
You must have reliable transportation, the ability to communicate efficiently, and a good attitude! Willing to train the right people! Must have some weekend availability!
