Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our ICU team. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will work in a small community hospital setting, requiring flexibility to float between units as needed. The RN will be responsible for monitoring and managing critically ill patients, administering medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions; interpret vital signs and lab results.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Assist in emergency interventions and patient transfers.
• Document patient care activities using the EPIC charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current PA or Compact RN license required.
• Minimum of 2 years of critical care experience.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Previous charge experience preferred.
• Must be able to float to other units as needed.
