Analytical Lab Technician

job summary:
We are seeking an Analytical Lab Technician for a high-priority, 6-month contract role with a strong likelihood of extension and full-time conversion in Jefferson City, MO. This 100% onsite role operates on a 2/2/3 rotating schedule within a fast-paced, manufacturing-driven laboratory environment. It is an exceptional opportunity for a detail-oriented technician to gain premier industry experience handling cosmetic and over-the-counter (OTC) product analysis.

responsibilities:

• Perform raw material, bulk, and finished product characterization using wet chemistry and spectroscopy.
• Execute, maintain, and troubleshoot analytical chromatography methods (HPLC, GC, and Ion Chromatography).
• Calibrate, maintain, and ensure the operational readiness of high-tech laboratory instrumentation.
• Document precise data in batch records and SAP tracking systems while strictly adhering to site quality standards.
• Collect production samples and manage product releases or rejections based on documented testing data.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and prepare for rigorous regulatory quality audits (e.g., FDA).

 
qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required, A.S. preferred
• 1-3 years of hands on lab experience required, analytical lab experience preferred
